PLASTIC INSTEAD OF CARDBOARD

Why plastic cores?

Winding core, ring, spool or reel core: wherever cardboard tubes and paper cores are used today, plastic cores are often the more robust choice. You will find a direct comparison on twelve points in our guide. Read the guide: cardboard or plastic →

SUCCESS STORY

+300 %

More output in the same time

Our customers use the rings in their final size: the material is slit and wound in a single pass. Because our cores are so precise, they cut the material to 1,000 mm in their production.

Compared with other plastic cores and conventional cores or spools, they increased their output by more than 300 % with the same amount of time.

Tolerance −2 mm / +1 mm, measured over 1,000 mm or 100 pieces

Your advantages

  • Low minimum order for standard sizes
  • Short delivery times
  • No tooling costs for the standard range*
  • Wide choice of ring variants

* Applies to our standard range, for which the tools already exist. Custom designs or tool modifications incur tooling costs.
